Journey of the Prodigal: A Parable of Sin and Redemption is a short book of 91 pages published in 2002 by Crossroad under its Crossroad Carlisle imprint. It retells the prodigal son of Luke 15 as a parable for the present, one of several story-books in which Manning set out his theme of the Father's welcome. It should not be confused with The Prodigal: A Ragamuffin Story (2013), the full-length novel written with Greg Garrett.
