A posthumous volume of Ellul's writings on the philosophy of law, gathered and prepared by Michel Hourcade and Jean-Pierre Jézéquel and published by La Table Ronde in 2022. Ellul was a professor of law, and this book brings together his thinking on the nature and foundations of law, a subject he had first treated theologically in Le Fondement théologique du droit (1946). It has not been translated into English.
