A short study guide to the books of Kings and Chronicles in the Scripture Union's Bible Study Books series, published in London by Scripture Union in 1967 and by Eerdmans in Grand Rapids in 1968 (92 pages). The series offered brief daily readings and comment for ordinary Bible readers. Scripture Union later republished the material in the Daily Bible Commentary (volume 1, 1977, with J. Stafford Wright) and as part of Understanding the Old Testament (1978). It is one of the few works by Marshall, a New Testament scholar, on the Old Testament.
