Volume II of Socrates' Children, Kreeft's four-volume introduction to philosophy through the hundred greatest philosophers, written after some sixty years of teaching as the clear and enjoyable beginner's text he had long wanted. Published by St. Augustine's Press in 2019 and reissued by Word on Fire. This volume covers the philosophers of the Middle Ages, who joined classical philosophy to the faith of the Bible, presenting each thinker's big ideas as part of the great conversation that began with Socrates.
