A book published by Éditions du Cerf in 1967 on baptism and confirmation as the 'entry into the history of salvation' of its title. It returns to the sacramental theology of Bible et liturgie (1951), where Daniélou had set out the Fathers' teaching on the rites of Christian initiation. No English translation is known.
