A collection of Clarence Jordan's sermons, lectures and articles, many of them excerpts, edited by Frederick L. Downing with an introduction by Starlette Thomas and published by Plough in its Plough Spiritual Guides series in 2022 (152 pages). Its thirteen chapters run roughly in order of date, from early pieces of the 1940s to talks given shortly before his death in 1969. The first, Impractical Christianity, is an early article on the basics of discipleship; The Meaning of Christian Fellowship (1946) sets out the principles on which Koinonia Farm was founded. Later chapters include White Southern Christians and Race, a talk on the Ten Commandments given at Goshen College, Jesus, Leader of the Poor, Love Your Enemies, Jesus and Possessions, The Man from Gadara and The Humanity of God. The Cotton Patch translations are not included. An editor's note says where the full texts of these and other sermons were published.
